In order to improve volunteers’ skills and knowledge, the League of Jewish Mutual Assistance has decided to launch a project related to the education of volunteers. The project started in April 2015. In the course of the project, there have been held several professional classes, which will help participants to understand the concept of “volunteer” more properly. In addition, the outside seminar for pupils from the Jewish school was organized. It aims to involve the youth in volunteering and to cultivate a “volunteer’s courage” in the young generation.
The new season of the project starts in October 2015. Its main part will be mostly focused on the various team building trainings in order to help volunteers to get better known each other. An advanced course for improvement of volunteering skills and knowledge, which includes not only theory, but also practice, will be organized.
