On January 25, there was held a lesson for children with special needs from low-income and large families within the framework of the “Life without gadgets” project, initiated by the children’s program of the charitable foundation “Hesed Shaarey Zion” with the participation of the “League of Jewish Volunteering”.
All participants were extremely excited. It wouldn’t be otherwise, since the topic was about the difference between communication in the social network and in reality, which is relevant nowadays. We rarely talk about it with everyone aloud. Our life has been involved so much in on-line communication that we sometimes forget about the main thing. What can we tell each other by looking in the eyes? How can we feel the reaction? … Is not this the most valuable thing today?
Brainstorming, thinking out loud, talking about that things, which are usually not discussed, emotions, laughter, understanding the thoughts of the interlocutor, the presentation of the opponent, a sense of own worth, appreciation of merits – all these things happened in the form of a game…
This is only a small part of what we experienced at our meeting, but the results will be later … We still have something to talk about.
