Project purpose: To help children to develop their imagination and fancy by means of games and creative techniques
Target audience: Groups of 10-15 people from 16 up to 25 years old
On November, 13 within the Jewish Volunteering League’s project “Make a Gift of Joy” the first iTale lesson “I’m storytelling” took place. It was designed for children from risk group, children with special needs, and from needy and large families and carried out by Anna Chekh. This project is elaborated to develop children’s imagination and fancy by means of various speaking, creative and game practice. The purpose of this lesson was to get acquainted with children and to come into contact with them, to awaken their imagination and creative abilities. Special attention has been paid to drawing and working with colours. Children created the drawings and explained why they chose one colour or another or why they drew something as such. At the end of the lesson the participants together with the teacher gave full scope to their imagination and, basing on the wizards’ drawings, completed and decorated their creations. The lesson turned out very interesting, cheerful and lively, all participants left it with smile, promising to come here over and over again for “storytelling”.
