Every Monday, the League of Jewish Volunteers meets children who enjoy studying and learning something new. They learn Hebrew – one of the oldest languages. Hebrew is the language, which is already more than 3 thousand years old and spoken by about 9 million people.
Our volunteer teacher Jacob is a native speaker from Israel. Jacob has his own individual lesson plan and approach to children, which helps them quickly learn the language. There is a visible result just in several lessons. Children learn new words actively and curiously. They are always eager to learn something new and this can be seen with the naked eye. They even come half an hour earlier than the teacher to get ready for the lesson! Learning the ancient language is simple and understandable for every child in our Hebrew project.
